The North Highland College is able to provide specially tailored courses in various geographical areas, and across many disciplines. Amongst others we have provided training to such diverse organisations as UKAEA, Nukem, Rolls Royce, Mitsui-Babcock, JCL, ABSL Power, Highland Health Board, Highland Regional Council, and Ice-tech.

The Continuous Personal & Professional Development brochure describes a range of short courses in fields such as Business, Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Hospitality, Information Technology, Health & Safety, and Science & Technology. We aim to provide top quality, short course provision for developing and updating employment skills and we welcome enquiries from individuals and local companies with regard to specific training needs. Access is planned to be flexible, and modular in order to minimise time spent away from the workplace. Programmes are updated on a regular basis to keep pace with change and ensure relevance. Each programme is highly participative, engaging selected tutors with the necessary experience and capacity to inspire and challenge industry students. Emphasis on work based activities supports the employee in transferring learning directly to the workplace.
