A basic level course for students who want a vocational qualification

    Course description

This National Qualification unit is designed as a basic level course for students who want a vocational qualification or would be an ideal follow on from Beyond the Basics - Computing.

Students will be required to identify and describe common business programmes (word processing, database, spreadsheet), take a hands on approach to input, edit, save and print documents from these business programmes, to identify equipment used in a computer system and demonstrate good working practices.

It is possible to use a current Individual Learning Account (ILA200) to pay for this unit, as it has been approved by ILAScotland.  Further information on ILAs can be found on their website, www.ilascotland.org.uk  or by telephoning 0808 100 1090.
