This class aims to provide an introduction to basic drawing and painting techniques. You will be encouraged to develop your own style and preference: you may wish to concentrate on landscapes, abstract design, watercolours or pen and ink. Students provide their own kit— you will be advised on the first day of the class what you require.
It is frequently run as part of our evening or day time class provision in Wick, and our evening provision in Thurso. Further details giving start date, day and time are given in the Evening/Day Class brochures for Wick and Thurso, published in July and December each year. Once you have completed this introductory course, you may wish to move on to one of the other classes which are available by day or evening, including the study unit "Painting Techniques". This course is also normally offered as part of our evening class provision, and may be available in September and/or February each year.
